Mihail Solakov, a DJ from Skopje, Macedonia, goes by the stage name Oak Tales. In 2005, he first encountered psychedelic trance music at gatherings in and around Skopje. After attending European festivals and researching various forms of psychedelic trance music, he became greatly moved by what is known as forest psy music. In 2013, he found himself behind the decks for the first time in his own nation, performing this sort of music for the crowd. He joined the Forestdelic Records family in 2016, and in 2018 he published his first album, VA - Nautilus.
His approach to playing sets is to never commit to one kind of music, instead, sensing the energy of the crowd and delivering the necessary dose of psychedelic and groove.
He selects music that combines Scandinavian deep and abstract sounds with more groove and dynamic tunes, constantly attempting to strike a balance between mind and body music.
